Larry B. Parness, CPA, MBA, PFS, and MST, has been thinking creatively "outside the box" for his clients for over 30 years. His firm encompasses the realms of accounting, financial planning and corporate management. His consulting experience includes retirement planning, estate administration, controllership, budgeting, computer systems and taxes. His client portfolio consists of all tax and financial aspects for the individual tax payer as well as providing for medical, manufacturing, and service businesses. A major objective of his client rapport is to make sure they understand all aspects of the choices they have before any decisions are made.

Between 2002 and 2007, he worked and lived in Charleston, South Carolina. He has since returned to Rhode Island and re-established a practice.

Beyond his CPA certification, he has also earned a PFS, granted exclusively to CPAs who are members in good standing of the AICPA. As a PFS credential holder, Larry demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of the core areas of financial planning. Also to obtain the credential, he met stringent requirements with professional work experience, education and training, and passed an examination that tested his financial planning knowledge. Outside the office, he has been married for over 36 years and raised two children of whom he is infinitely proud. He has been active in volunteering with all kinds of community organizations such as coaching for Youth Athletic Programs in Cumberland, serving on boards for Congregation Sons of Jacob in Providence, and consulting for Congregation Beth David in Narragansett. He enjoys tennis, golf, and property management.
